Our annual native plant seed exchange was held on Tuesday, November 18th, in the Casteel Room at Tye Preston Memorial Library.
Members and guests browsed through many species indigenous to our area, including wildflowers, grasses, bushes, and trees.
Literature on each seed type was provided, as well as a notebook displaying samples of actual seeds in their many forms and sizes.
After a successful search for seeds which would work in desired areas, participants hurried home to place the seeds in their new locations and anticipate the imminent forecasted rain event.
