Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the Museum of Texas Handmade Furniture (known by some as part of the grounds on which Folkfest is held).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b7e17ea e-flex e-con-boxed e-con centered by a Wafer Ash or Common Hop Tree (<em>Ptelea trifoliata<\/em>) and presently bordered by Autumn Sage (<em>Salvia greggii<\/em>).\u00a0 The tree\u2019s \u201ccommon\u201d name refers to a reported use in earlier days of the bitter fruit as a substitute for hops in brewing beer by the local German immigrants.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>The bed is being enlarged and a pea gravel path installed around the perimeter. \u00a0The pea gravel path will eventually be connected to other pathways on the property to benefit visitors who want to experience the grounds in a natural way.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7b03792 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\"
