Its flowers are white with a yellow center and are honey-<br \/>scented. Blooms from March \u2013 Nov.<\/p><p><strong>Planting Sites:<\/strong> The plant grows in dry, rocky, gravelly, sandy, limestone-<br \/>based, or caliche soils in full sun or light shade. Good drainage is essential.<br \/>Planting Instructions: Space plants 12\u201d- 24\u201d apart. Dig hole slightly larger<br \/>than, but the same depth as the nursery container. Carefully remove plant<br \/>from container and gently loosen any compacted soil or roots around the<br \/>root ball. Plant at the same depth as the soil in the container. Add a light<br \/>crushed granite or pebble mulch.<\/p><p><strong>Watering Instructions :<\/strong> Water well after planting, using a root stimulator mixed according to directions. For about<br \/>3 months, water deeply when top 2 &#8211; 3\u201d of soil is dry to promote deep roots that will withstand drought. Skip a<br \/>watering after a rainfall of \u00bd\u201d to 1\u201d. Once established, Blackfoot Daisy is very drought-tolerant.<\/p><p><strong>Comments:<\/strong> Very drought and heat tolerant. Makes an excellent border plant. Good for rock gardens. Rich soil and<br \/>abundant water will likely produce many more flowers in the short-term, but may consequently shorten consequently shorten the<br \/>lifespan.
