Hopkins St.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Debbie <\/strong>has signed us up for the HEB tabling for Native Plant Week.&nbsp; We will be doing the 2nd weekend Oct. 24,25 at the Spring Branch location.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Director of Communications<\/strong>: Open<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Facebook \u2013 Nancy 161 followers up from 158 last month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send upcoming events to Dick to be updated on the website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Director of Plant Sales<\/strong>: Debbie Kyrouac<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fall plant sale will coincide with NLCP III on Oct 31 at Mammen Library, she is looking at plant digs to get plants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spring plant sale &#8211; With Easter being March 28, she is looking at reaching out to the Mammen Library to see if we can secure April 3 for an NLCP class and Spring plant sale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Past President:<\/strong> Sara Torres really needs someone to take on the duties of President, she has had a number of things&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; come up that have to be dealt with impacting her available time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a><strong>Program Committee Chair<\/strong><\/a>:&nbsp; Mike Laffey<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>August 18<sup>th<\/sup> room B at Mammen, Tracey Brown will speak on &#8220;Fruitful Choices&#8221;, the talk will explore a variety of fruit-bearing trees and shrubs that thrive in Central Texas, focusing on both native species and well-adapted cultivars.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>September 15<sup>th<\/sup> Jeff Pavalat at Mammen &#8211; the Curator of Cacti &amp; Succulents of the Zilker Botanical Garden in Austin, speaking on \u201cCacti &amp; Succulents of South Texas\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>October 13th Mammen Room B.&nbsp; Will check on a Monarch Program presentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>November 17th Mammen Room B.&nbsp; Seed exchange.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>December 15th Mammen Rooms A&amp;B.&nbsp; Christmas party.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Field Trip Chair:<\/strong> Christina Campbell<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Field trip to Inevitable Technology at 103 Center Point Rd. Ste A in San Marcos is lined up for Saturday, July 18th at 11am.&nbsp; Went well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>September field trip to Zilker Botanical, Austin. Guided tours start at $7 per visitor and usually last between 60-90 minutes.
