The best types of soils for these plants are dry, sandy or gravelly soils, but they will also grow in other types of well-draining soils which can remain dry.<\/p><p><b>Planting Instructions: <\/b>Space plants 5 \u2013 7\u2019 apart. Dig hole slightly larger than, but the same depth as the nursery<br \/>container. Carefully remove plant from container and gently loosen any compacted soil or roots around the root<br \/>ball. Plant at the same depth as the soil in the container. Add 2 to 3 inches of mulch.<\/p><p><b>Watering Instructions: <\/b><b>H<\/b>as very low water needs. It is drought tolerant and prefers to be grown in dry soils, so you won\u2019t need to water them at all during fall and winter, and only a minor amount of supplementary water will be required through spring and summer.<\/p><p><b>Comments: <\/b>Attracts butterflies.
