It is also frequently called Golden Crownbeard.<\/p><p><b>Planting Sites: <\/b><b>N<\/b>ot picky as to soil type; it thrives on disturbed soil, hence the name.<\/p><p><b>Planting Instructions: <\/b><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">Space plants 3\u2019<\/span> \u2013 <span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">6\u2019 apart. Dig hole slightly larger than, but the same depth as the nursery<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">container. Carefully remove plant<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">from container and gently loosen any circling roots or compacted soil around the<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">root ball. Plant at the same depth as the soil in the container. Add 2 to 3 inches of mulch.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Watering Instructions: Once establish is drought-tolerant and needs very little watering.<\/b><\/p><p><b>Comments: <\/b>Butterflies take advantage of this bountiful nectar supply. Host plant for the caterpillars of the Silvery Checkerspot and the Gold Moth.
